Based in one of the leading geography departments in the country as ranked in the 2014 Research Excellent Framework, you will contribute to the intellectual life of the School through conducting and publishing outstanding quality research, engaging in high quality teaching.

You have or are close to finishing a PhD in Economics or in relevant sub-fields. You have expertise in environmental economics or resource economics and advanced training in quantitative methods or applied theory relevant to environmental or resource economics. You have ability, or potential, to publish in refereed international journals and a viable strategy for future outstanding research that could result in world-leading publications. You have the ability to teach environmental economics or resource economics at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
