The Economics Department at Lafayette College, a private, highly-selective liberal arts college located 70 miles from both Philadelphia and New York City, invites nominations and applications for the Walter E. Hanson/KPMG Peat Marwick Professor of Business and Finance, a chaired professorship established in 1981 to advance education in these areas. The Economics Department at Lafayette holds 19 faculty lines and its faculty are actively engaged in scholarship across a wide range of disciplines, including finance.

We seek a candidate with a distinguished record of teaching and scholarship who will take a leadership role in enhancing the Department’s finance curriculum, including its Certificate program. Teaching responsibilities include two courses per semester in the areas of corporate finance, investments, and other finance-related fields. Course scheduling is flexible.

Requirements:
• All candidates must possess an appropriate doctoral degree and have outstanding teaching and research records.
