The Department of Economics at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse invites applications to fill one, possibly two, full-time, instructional academic staff positions beginning August 27, 2018. Rank will be Lecturer with competitive salary and benefits. Candidates for the position(s) may be asked to teach principles of economics and/or business research methods. Candidates who can teach both are preferred. Experience with assessment of student learning is valued.

The successful candidates will demonstrate an interest and high level of competence in undergraduate teaching. A typical semester will include two preparations in a twelve-hour teaching load. Class sizes usually range from 25-35 students. The position requires at minimum a Master's degree in Economics or related field, applied statistics, or a business discipline by start date. To receive full consideration, a cover letter, curriculum vita and three letters of recommendation that address teaching ability should be included. The Economics Department is in the College of Business Administration, which is accredited at the undergraduate and MBA levels by AACSB.
