The Department of Economics, part of the AACSB accredited College of Business Administration at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, Assistant Professor position beginning August 27, 2018. The candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Macro and International Economics. Secondary teaching needs include business research methods and applied econometrics. A typical semester includes two preparations with a nine-hour teaching load. Class sizes range from 25 to 35 students.
Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability and interest in innovative and high quality teaching, a commitment to scholarly research, and a willingness to engage in university and professional service. Applicants should have or be near completing a doctoral degree in Economics or a related field by the start date. Degree must be earned by the first personnel review, no later than May 15, 2019.
