The Department of Economics at Ithaca College invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor position beginning Fall 2018. Teaching responsibilities include principles of economics, upper level courses in money and banking, and monetary theory and policy. Within macroeconomics and monetary economics, we are open with respect to research areas but are interested in current issues surrounding global central banking and financial crises. The applicant will be encouraged to develop new courses in economics and in our Integrative Core Curriculum (https://www.ithaca.edu/icc/). Other responsibilities include active scholarship, advising students, and committee service. Candidates with a Ph.D. by August 2018 are preferred. Selected applicants will be invited to interview via Skype in January 2018.
