The Department of Economics of KU Leuven is looking to hire an experienced or new Ph.D. economist in the area of Macroeconomics. Any subfield and both empirical or theoretical research profiles are eligible. Candidates are expected to have an excellent research record. The quality of the candidate’s research should be demonstrated by publications in top international peer-reviewed journals. Junior applicants (pre-tenure) can demonstrate research excellence with promising ongoing research projects or papers and academic references. The candidate will teach courses in macroeconomics at the Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral level. The exact teaching responsibilities will depend on the profile and rank of the candidate.
Selected candidates will be invited for interviews either at the ASSA meetings in Philadelphia or will be interviewed via Skype.
