The Center for People, Politics, and Markets invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position in Economics beginning August 2018. A Ph.D. at the time of appointment and prior teaching experience are required. We are seeking an applied microeconomist who can contribute broadly at all levels of the economics curriculum, including statistics. Candidates who can contribute courses related to health, education, welfare, public, inequality, labor and demographic economics are strongly encouraged to apply. Finally, the candidate should be eager to contribute to college-wide programs (first year seminar and center-based pair courses) and be committed to teaching and scholarship in a liberal arts environment. The typical teaching load is 3-2.
