The Economics Department invites application for a tenure-track Assistant Professor starting 8/2018. Duties include undergraduate and graduate teaching, research, and service. We prefer candidates in one of three areas:

-Microeconomic Theory intersecting with behavioral economics and/or mathematical finance
-Applied Econometrics intersecting with policy analysis
-Applied Microeconomics intersecting with macroeconomics or trade

We stress the potential to produce internationally recognized research and interaction with FSU faculty. We may hire either a new Ph.D. or an advanced Assistant Professor. Under exceptional circumstances, a second hire is possible. Either the Ph.D. must be in hand or all requirements for the Ph.D. must be satisfied by 8/6/18. The deadline for applications is 12/1/17.
