The Workforce Strategy and Analytics practice at Mercer is at the forefront of rapid advances in the field of workforce science. Using a combination of qualitative and quantitative analyses, we help our clients unlock insights about their workforce, empowering them to make evidenced-based decisions about their human capital.

This is a great opportunity to innovate, grow, and advance as part of an international consulting firm working in interdisciplinary teams. To fulfill this role, the Consultant will:

• Manage data transfers from clients
• Prepare data for analysis
• Perform advanced statistical analysis, including regression modeling
• Participate in the generation of high-value insights for clients
• Draft and proof reports/presentations
• Fine-tune or develop more effective analytical tools and related documentation
• Conduct general research into prospective or existing client situations
• Keep up with new research in Labor Economics, Organizational Psychology, and related areas
• Train and develop new analysts
• Travel on a limited basis

Qualifications include:
• Ph.D. in economics or related field (Master’s degree will be considered)
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Skilled in working with large databases
• Experience conducting econometric analyses, including multiple and logistic regression
• Programming experience (preferably in SAS and/or R)
• Relevant work experience is a plus, but not required
• Self-direction and self-motivation (must be fully able to work without supervision)
• Ability and initiative to advance independent tasks as time permits
• Solid interpersonal skills, including the ability to work closely with other team members and interact with clients
