The Social Sciences Experimental Laboratory (SSEL) at NYU Abu Dhabi (see http://nyuad.nyu.edu/en/research/faculty-research/ssel-laboratory.html) is seeking two talented post-doctoral researchers. Start dates are flexible and negotiable, one can start as early as January 1st, while the other can start around September 1st, and will be based in Abu Dhabi although the position is likely to involve travel to NYU's New York and Shanghai campuses as well as other locations.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will take a leadership role in conducting lab, lab-in-the-field, and field experiments through SSEL under the direction of Professor Rebecca Morton, SSEL Director. The candidate will conduct their own research and experiments in the social sciences as well. In addition, the candidate is expected to allocate approximately 25% of your working time to provide assistance to faculty and students conducting experiments in the laboratory.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have a doctoral degree in economics, political science, sociology, or a related field or be near completion of such degree. Previous experience conducting social science experimental research (either lab, lab-in-the-field, and/or field) is essential. The successful candidate will have strong experimental design, data analysis, writing, and organizational skills. Knowledge of Z-Tree or a similar experimental programming language such as o-tree is required.
In addition, STATA, MATLAB, R, H-Root, ORSEE, and/or other computer languages used in laboratory experimentation is desirable. Candidates should also be self-motivated and willing to travel.
