Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Institute for Economic and Social Research (IESR) at Jinan University warmly invites applications for visiting professor positions in all fields of economics, including but not limited to labor, health, urban, econometrics, IO, trade, development, macroeconomics, or finance.

Visits last between 1 month and 1 year. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in economics or related fields and demonstrated excellence in research and teaching. The visiting professor(s) are expected to teach no more than two courses per semester, and contribute to the academic environment of the institute. The medium of instruction is English.

We offer a globally competitive compensation package commensurate with experience. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.

IESR is dedicated to building a world-renowned research program and think tank in applied economics with a focus on the Chinese economy and society. Its Survey Data Center specializes in the collection, synthesis and analysis of micro-level data. IESR operates under the leadership of internationally renowned scholars with Professor James Heckman as the chairman of its advisory board.
