The Department of Economics invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, beginning or advanced Assistant Professor position to begin August 1, 2018, in the above fields with a focus on US Domestic Social Policy. In addition to courses in the area of specialization, the successful candidate will teach a one-semester introductory course and either Statistics or Econometrics. Candidates must have teaching experience, evidence of research potential, and have completed all the requirements for a Ph.D. in economics by the start date. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to research and teaching excellence in a liberal arts environment.

Located in metropolitan Philadelphia, Bryn Mawr College is a distinguished liberal arts college for women and has strong consortial relationships with Haverford College, Swarthmore College, and the University of Pennsylvania. Bryn Mawr has a student body of 1,300 undergraduates, as well as 350 graduate students in coeducational graduate programs in social work, humanities and science.
