The Department of Earth System Science and the Woods Institute for the Environment at Stanford University invite applications for a tenure-track faculty appointment in the area of Environmental Risk and Adaptation. The focus of the search is on risks from global environmental change to people and the planet, including adapting to, planning for, and reducing such risks. We are searching for a creative and innovative scholar with a demonstrated research record who is also committed to high-quality teaching. The search is open to all levels, but with a strong preference for a junior appointment.
