Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University (SFU) in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, invites outstanding applicants for one tenure-track position in Managerial Economics, beginning fall 2018, at the assistant or associate professor level.

The successful candidate will have a passion for conducting high-quality, scholarly research; demonstrated teaching excellence at the undergraduate level, with potential to teach to MBAs, Ph.D.’s, and executives; and leadership abilities. Research interests consistent with Beedie’s strategic priorities of innovation, socially responsible and sustainable business and issues related to global business and economics will be valued, as will demonstrated engagement with communities of practice. The initial major teaching assignment will be an economics course for undergraduate business majors. Ph.D. is required by August 2018.
