The School of Economics and Political Science of the University of St. Gallen wishes to appoint an Assistant Professor in Econometrics as soon as possible (or by mutual agreement). All areas of Econometrics will be considered.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Economics, Econometrics or Statistics and a promising track record in research.

The appointment is for 6 years (non-tenure track). The teaching load will be one class (two hours) per week (24 weeks p.a.). In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for counselling students and faculty in applied econometrics and data science. Applications from qualified women are particularly welcome.

Candidates are requested to submit their application along with the usual supporting documents (motivation letter, CV, teaching evaluations and relevant publications) in electronic form. Two letters of reference are required. Please indicate whether you will be attending the AEA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia in January 2018.
