The Department of Economics is seeking to hire one position in “Chinese Economy” and several positions in all other fields of economics at any rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). Salary is highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package, including medical/dental care, annual leave, and housing benefits, for eligible appointees. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract for appointment on contract terms. Teaching may be at the undergraduate, MSc. and Ph.D. levels. Applicants must include curriculum vita, recent publications and research papers. Junior and mid-career applicants should arrange for 3 letters of recommendation to be sent. For tenured positions, references will be solicited only after both sides agree to proceed with the process of appointment. Shortlisted junior and mid-career candidates will be interviewed during Philadelphia AEA meeting on Jan 5-7, 2018.
