The School of Economics and Management at Ningxia University invites applications for Assistant Professor (tenure-track) and Full Professor positions.

Ningxia University is a public research university with campuses in Yinchuan (capital city of Ningxia), China. It is directly administrated by the Education Ministry of China and is supported by the "211 Project". Having received multiple fundings from various sources and the support of the Education Ministry of China, NXU has experienced very fast growth in recent years. It is the largest university in the region by faculty, students enrollment, and by endowment and funding.

The School of Economics and Management has 106 full-time employees, among which 90 are faculty members. It has a student body of roughly 2400 (including undergraduate, Master's, and PhD). The school has four departments: economics, business administration, accounting, and agricultural and forest economics. The school grants degrees range from Ph.D., Master's in Economics, MBA, MPAcc, to various majors and minors. The school is the recipient of the "First-Class Research Field Initiative" administrated by the provincial government. The School of Economics and Management is the host of the 2017 China Economics Annual Conference.

Yinchuan is considered a very livable and friendly city and offers a wide variety of amenities.

Requirements:
Candidates for all positions must have acquired a Ph.D. degree in Economics or Management by the time of employment. Candidates of ABD standing are welcome to apply.

Salary And Benefits:
We offer competitive salaries that are commensurate with each position with flexible contract options (candidates could negotiate the length of their contracts - 4 years or longer). The benefits include comprehensive health care and state pension.

(a) For renowned professors (e.g. with multiple publications in top journals or field top journals), NXU offers an annual salary above 1,000,000 RMB ($150,000) with a 20,000,000 RMB ($3,000,000) research funding, and a 2,000,000 RMB ($300,000) one-time settlement fee.

(b) For tenured professors that are able to carry out high-quality research, the annual salary is above 500,000 RMB, with a 1,000,000 RMB research fund and 1,500,000 RMB one-time settlement fee.

(c) For assistant professors, we offer a salary that is no lower than 300,000 RMB with a 100,000 RMB research fund. The one-time settlement fee for junior faculty varies between 200,000 and 500,000 RMB.
