The Department of Economics at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Senior Lecturer in Econometrics to begin in August 16, 2018. A successful candidate will have a PhD. in economics, a background in econometrics and a strong desire to teach statistics and econometrics at the undergraduate level. The standard course load will be six courses per year, and would likely include multiple sections of some courses. The initial term of appointment will be for one to three years. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Vanderbilt stresses excellence in teaching for non-tenure-track faculty in its undergraduate programs. The position will remain open until filled. Some preliminary interviews may be conducted at the January 2018 AEA meetings in Philadelphia, although final decisions will likely be made in March or April of 2018.
