The Department of Economics at the University at Albany, State University of New York, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant or associate professor position in macroeconomics beginning Fall 2018. Applicants for the assistant professor position must demonstrate their research potential as evidenced by research papers; those for the associate professor position must have a substantial record of high-quality publications and an ongoing program of research.

The successful candidate will have a commitment to macroeconomic research, the potential to obtain external funding (assistant professors) or funding in hand and a demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels (associate professors). A Ph.D. is required and the degree must be from a university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized accrediting organization.
