The Harvard Kennedy School seeks candidates for a new Senior, Tenured Professorship in Social Innovation. The position is open to scholars in any disciplinary field related to the study social innovation—innovation in support of the public good—irrespective of the sector(s) in which the innovation originates (public, civil society (including nonprofits and social movements), philanthropy, for-profit). Candidates should offer a record of high impact research as well as practice-oriented insights, together with the leadership capacity to shape the future of the field in scholarship as well as practice, in the US and globally.

The successful candidate will also be expected to have strong teaching record and to build community and resources at the Kennedy School and Harvard University that meet the intense level of student interest and demand in social innovation.
