The School of Business and Economics at Michigan Technological University invites applications for a full-time position of Assistant Professor (tenure track) in Economics starting August 2018. The successful applicant will have demonstrated the ability and willingness to (i) actively contribute to research focus of one or more of Michigan Tech's research centers or institutes (http://www.mtu.edu/research/about/centers-institutes/) and (ii) teach MBA Managerial Economics, undergraduate Microeconomic field courses and Principles of Economics.

A PhD in Economics is required; exceptional ABD applicants completing PhD by August 20, 2018 will be considered. Applicants should send:
-one page letter of application describing qualifications
-current CV, three-to-five references
-one page summary statement describing their teaching experience and summaries of student evaluations
-research paper
