The Economics Department invites applications for a 3-3 load tenure-track position at the assistant professor level beginning Fall 2018. Applicants from all fields are welcome to apply but some preference will be given to those with a field in international economics. Outstanding teaching ability and enthusiasm for teaching in a liberal arts environment are essential, as is strong scholarly potential. Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to Trinity's general education curriculum (including the First-Year Experience) and various interdisciplinary or international initiatives. Some teaching experience is desirable. All requirements for the Ph.D. must be completed by August 2018. Your application should include a cover letter, vitae, evidence of teaching effectiveness, job market paper, and three letters of reference. All of these materials should be submitted online at JOE.
