The Department of Economics invites applications for a full-time tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin in the 2018-19 academic year. We seek candidates with teaching and research interests in Microeconomics and any sub-field of Industrial Organization including Anti-trust, Economics of Regulation, and/or Game Theory. Macalester College values a strong commitment to research, a promise of successful scholarly engagement and dedication to teaching excellence in a liberal arts environment. The teaching load is four courses the first year and five courses per year thereafter. Ph.D. expected by August 2018.
