The Department of Economics and Finance in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business invites applications for one tenure track assistant professor position in macroeconomics, with specific emphasis in macroeconomic aspects of public policy and/or financial macroeconomics. This is a nine-month position with a typical teaching load of 4 courses (12 credit hours) per academic year, with anticipated starting date of August 1, 2018.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Minimum requirements include a Ph.D. in economics. Candidates must have excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills, and must support the Huntsman School’s focus on student success. Excellent teaching, student mentoring, and high-impact research are required.

Salary/Benefits:
Salary/benefits package is competitive. The university’s contribution to retirement saving is 14.2% of salary.
