The Department of Economics at the University of Haifa is recruiting several tenure-track junior and senior faculty members to join our active research department, see https://econ.hevra.haifa.ac.il/. Successful researchers from all fields will be considered, but those working in Macroeconomics, Applied Microeconomics, Econometrics and Behavioural Economics are particularly encouraged to apply. Junior candidates are expected to present an innovative paper and to demonstrate a high research potential. Senior candidates should additionally have a successful publication record in the top economic journals and demonstrate the ability to win competitive research grants.

Teaching responsibilities include developing new elective graduate and undergraduate courses and supervising MA and PhD students. The University of Haifa has over 18,000 students from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.

Prior knowledge of Hebrew is not required but a successful applicant is expected to have a strong command of Hebrew within three years of appointment.
