The College of Business Administration at Winthrop University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin in Fall 2018. New and prospective PhDs and current Assistant Professors are encouraged to apply. The position is a nine-month, tenure track appointment beginning August 16, 2018. Winthrop University is located in Rock Hill, SC, 15 miles south of Charlotte, NC. Winthrop has approximately 6,000 students and offers both bachelors and master’s degrees in the College of Business.

The candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and/or MBA courses in economics beginning Fall 2018. While economists in all fields are encouraged to apply, special consideration will be given to candidates in the fields of public finance, health economics and environmental economics.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in economics or firm expectation of completion by July 2018.
