The Ohio State University at Marion invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics beginning Autumn 2018. Candidates must have Ph.D. at time of appointment; postgraduate teaching experience is preferred. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching. Teaching and service for this position will occur at Ohio State Marion, which is one of the six campuses of The Ohio State University. Marion campus faculty hold appointments in their academic departments on the Columbus campus and have access to labs, libraries, and resources.

We seek candidates with diverse teaching expertise who will teach students of varying abilities. Responsibilities will include teaching economics courses (at the preparatory, first, second-year level, such as introductory courses in micro- and macro- economics), producing scholarship and engaging in service to the university community. This position is renewable for a maximum of three years subject to annual satisfactory evaluation.
