Summary:
We are searching for a post-doctoral scholar trained in economics (health, labor, agricultural, or applied) with strong econometric training interested in an array of nutrition-related tax and food policy research. The research will take place at the Carolina Population Center with the Global Food Research Program (http://globalfoodresearchprogram.web.unc.edu/) team in collaboration with two economists, Shu Wen Ng and Barry Popkin, alongside a large team of other scholars and researchers. The group is focused on both policy-related nutrition, food purchase and other longitudinal research in both the US and globally.

Educational Requirements:
A PhD or equivalent in economics (health, agricultural, labor, applied) or related discipline with strong econometric training.

Qualifications and Experience:
We are seeking a productive, promising, self-driven and collaborative scholar with a strong background in economics, agricultural economics or health economics with an interest and some experience in public health nutrition.

Experience with public health nutrition research, large data-sets and STATA desired.

Experience with household scanned food purchase data, store scanned food sales, nutritional data and dietary surveys is highly preferred.
