The Department of Economics in the Poole College of Management invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant-professor level in labor and health economics. The expectation is that an appointee will engage in high-quality research resulting in publications in leading general interest and field journals. The appointee must also be an effective teacher at the graduate and undergraduate levels and provide service to the department, college and university.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in economics at the time of their appointment. Subject to budget contingencies, the appointment will begin as early as August 2018.
