Motu Economic and Public Policy Research is looking for a Director and Senior Fellow who is flexible and energetic, with a passion for using economics to make a difference to the world.

Our ideal candidate will be both a leader and an experienced economics researcher with a track record of quality research. They will have a vision for how Motu can continue to increase its influence without compromising its core values.

Motu is one of the top ten economic think tanks in the world and is staffed by experienced researchers with PhDs from top international programmes including Stanford, Harvard, Princeton and the London School of Economics. Motu researchers are passionate about undertaking and disseminating high-quality policy-relevant research that is independent of any political agenda, as well as developing New Zealand’s future researchers and economists.
