Moody’s Analytics Economics Division is a continuously growing organization with an extensive global client list. We are located in West Chester, PA, and are a leading independent provider of economic, financial, country, and industry research designed to meet the diverse planning and information needs of businesses, governments, and professional investors worldwide.

The duties of an Economist include economic forecasting and analysis of countries, industries, and regions; preparing written analysis for the company's publications and our live commentary website; model estimation; contract consulting work, by assisting senior economists in model specification, estimation, and the writing of interim and the final reports; meeting with clients to discuss proposed and current projects; after some experience making presentations at our economic outlook conferences; and general client assistance. Economists may also work as editors for subscription products and will participate in training of Associate Economists.

Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will have a Master’s degree and three to five years experience. An excellent academic record is required. Job requires experience in macroeconomic and microeconomic analysis, technical writing, and economic modeling including E-views, SAS/FAME programming and VB. Training in econometrics is preferred. Knowledge of demographic research would be helpful.
