To accomplish its mission of providing top level research and education in economics and finance, the School of Economics and Commerce at South China University of Technology is recruiting junior and senior scholars in but not limited in finance, regional economics, international trade, econometrics, industrial economics, and financial engineering. Mandarin Chinese is not pre-requisite and candidates of any nationalities are encouraged to apply for.

Associate Professor: (1) Vacancy 3. (2) Qualification Requirement: PhD in Economics or Finance of a predominant university. Academic achievements qualify to apply for the third-grade professor of the SCUT and sufficient number of papers have been published in international or domestic authoritative journals. More than 2 years oversea work experience. (3) Position Statement: Publish 3 papers in decent academic journal and within which 1 in top journal. 1 National Science or Social Science Research Fund project approved in each five-years examination period. Teach 64 hours full English courses each year, and supervise PhD and Master students. Other service work 10% in total workload. With potentials of progress in research, good teaching ability and team work manner. Younger than 45 years old, with good health condition.
