Full Text of JOE Listing:

To accomplish its mission of providing top level research and education in economics and finance, the School of Economics and Commerce at South China University of Technology is recruiting junior and senior scholars in but not limited in finance, regional economics, international trade, econometrics, industrial economics, and financial engineering. Mandarin Chinese is not pre-requisite and candidates of any nationalities are encouraged to apply for.

Assistant Professor: (1) Vacancy 5. (2) Qualification Requirement: PhD in Economics or Finance of a predominant university. Academic achievements qualify to apply for the top-grade associate professor of the SCUT and at least one paper has been published in international decent journals. At least one-year oversea work experience. With big potentials of progress in research, good teaching ability and team work manner. Younger than 35 years old, with good health condition. (3) Position Statement: Publish 3 papers in third-tier academic journal and within which 1 piece in decent journal, or 4 papers in decent domestic Chinese journals in each five-years examination period. Teach no less than 64 hours full English courses each year, and supervise Master students. 10% other service work in total workload.
