The Finance Discipline Group at the UTS Business School is seeking to make one or more tenure-track or tenured appointments at all levels.

Applicants must have a strong research agenda and demonstrate the ability to conduct high quality research that is publishable in high quality finance journals. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate excellent teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Applicants for the entry level positions must have a doctoral qualification (or expect to finish in 2017) in Finance, Financial Economics or other related fields. Candidates for more senior positions must have an internationally-recognized research program as demonstrated by high impact publications in top finance journals.

Members of the faculty come from four continents and numerous universities. We subscribe to all major datasets and have generous research support programs including an extensive seminar program. We are now hiring at all levels subject to funding and are seeking dynamic individuals that can excel at research, teaching and industry engagement and can contribute to the collegial environment in the Finance Discipline Group. Preference will be given to candidates in mainstream finance in the areas of market microstructure, corporate finance or investments.
