The Department of Economics in the UCLA College of Letters and Sciences invites highly qualified applicants for temporary positions as Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Continuing Lecturer, or Senior Continuing Lecturer for the 2017-18 Academic Year. This is a temporary, non-tenure track appointment. Lectureship appointments are part time and made quarter by quarter, as dictated by instructional needs and budget constraints of the department.

Candidates must have at least two years of teaching experience and a demonstrated record of distinguished undergraduate teaching, or proven industry expertise. Candidates must be able to handle a large class environment. Desirable fields for undergraduate teaching are principles of economics, intermediate micro and macro, statistics, and econometrics. Upper division elective courses are a possibility. Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. in economics or in fields of comparable sophistication.
