The Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service of Georgetown University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-line faculty position in economics (open rank) for a three-year renewable term. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in economics and established teaching and research records in the fields of international economics, development economics, political economy, environmental/resource economics, and/or country/regional economies.

The instructional load will be six semester courses per academic year, at the undergraduate and Master’s levels to students across international affairs majors and concentrations. Research, instructional, or professional experience using empirical methods is a plus. Alongside teaching, the incumbent is expected to maintain an active research agenda and be a member of the academic community at Georgetown University.
