The Global Financial Literacy Excellence Center (GFLEC) at the George Washington University School of Business invites applications for a Senior Research Associate position. The successful candidate will be mainly responsible for carrying out research/development activities. Additionally, he/she writes reports on financial literacy and financial capability for both government and private institutions. He/she coordinates research projects of GFLEC, reporting either to the Director of Research or Prof. Lusardi, founder and academic director of GFLEC. He/she also coordinates with team members to carry out and implement the research priorities of the Center and supervises the work of student-workers and research assistants.

In addition to a PhD in Economics, experience in financial literacy and applied research is preferred, but not required. Candidate in this position has potential to grow into the Director of Research role.

GFLEC, founded and led by Prof. Annamaria Lusardi, is one of the leading research centers on financial literacy and financial capability. It is reflective of expertise not only in financial literacy, but also in the translational power of academic research to inform policy and practice.
