The Department of Economics at the University of West Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track position (funds pending) at the assistant professor level commencing Fall 2017. Minimum requirements for this position include a completed Ph.D. in economics or related field and demonstrated excellence in teaching. The Department of Economics is located in the AACSB-accredited Richards College of Business. Faculty in the College of Business are expected to have an active research agenda leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals. Teaching responsibilities may include principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, business statistics, and an upper-division or graduate economics course, especially in health economics, industrial organization, or econometrics.
