The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track position in Economics in the areas of econometrics, financial economics, macroeconomics, and applied microeconomics at the Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning August 2017.

This position is part of the School’s strategic plan of strengthening the finance and economics disciplines in a business school with an emphasis at the intersection of business, technology and analytics. Candidates must have earned a Ph.D., or foreign equivalent, in Economics, or a closely related field, a potential for excellence in research and teaching, and ability to collaborate with the Finance faculty. Degree requirements must be completed before September 2017.

Members of our faculty are expected to conduct original research of exceptionally high quality, to teach effectively, and to participate in and contribute to the academic environment. Candidates are expected to teach courses in Economics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and must have commitment to research leading to top scholarly publications.

The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology has a special focus on financial economics, analytics, information systems, and technology and encourages interdisciplinary research. The school is AACSB accredited and offers PhD, MBA, Masters, and undergraduate programs.
