Faculty - Economics (9 Mos. Tenure Track) – Ferris State University

Teaching will generally fall within the umbrella of principles of economics courses, however advanced courses including graduate may be assigned. To foster a meaningful learning experience for our students, faculty are expected to be student-oriented, to advise, to integrate current technology into the learning environment, and to enjoy participating in collaborative efforts to foster curricular and programmatic enhancement. In support of teaching, they will engage in scholarly/professional activities.

Required: Earned doctorate infield; will consider ABD with substantial progress towards degree completion. Prior teaching experience at a university level, particularly in relation to economics; the ability to merge theory and practice; excellent interpersonal and communications skills, and evidence of teaching excellence in a face-to-face environment.
