The Finance Department at the Fox School of Business at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a candidate for an academic Non-Tenure Track faculty position to begin in fall 2017. The chosen candidate will engage in teaching (3-3 teaching load) and provide service to the School and Department. Teaching will be at the undergraduate- and master- levels (MBA and MS Finance) with an emphasis in corporate finance and financial modeling. We seek an individual with strong skills in data analysis using Excel, SAS, and/or STATA.

Service commitments include: (i) working with Fox’s faculty and administrative staff to strengthen our network to the Philadelphia financial community and other activities connecting students to the professional finance world, and (ii) assisting with the administration of a large department, consisting of over 30 faculty members, 1,200 undergraduates, over 160 finance master-students, and 10 doctoral candidates.

The preferred qualifications for this position are:
• A Ph.D. or D.B.A with a concentration in finance, financial economics, or economics (micro and/or econometrics). Consideration will also be given to practicing professionals with substantial work experience and a master-level degree.
• Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or master level.
• Evidence of effective and high quality teaching via student evaluation forms, etc.
• Outgoing individual with the ability to interface with practicing financial professionals and corporate managers/executives.
