Full Text of JOE Listing:

The College of Education at Michigan State University seeks a scholar of national standing in the field of education policy to occupy the Clifford E. Erickson Distinguished Chair. The position comes with a fund to support the Chair’s research activity. In addition to research, teaching and service responsibilities, the new faculty member will serve as the inaugural faculty director of a new center for the collection and study of longitudinal data for the scientific studies of K-12 students, teachers and schools. This center is developed at the College of Education in partnership with the State of Michigan and the University of Michigan. The express mission of this Center will be to provide access to data for researchers engaging in high-quality, timely, relevant scholarship in support of education policy and policymakers.
