The Wake Forest University School of Business, in conjunction with the Eudaimonia Institute, is seeking qualified candidates for a Tenure-Track Assistant (senior) or Associate Professor of Economics starting Summer 2017. For the School of Business, this individual will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Managerial and/or Macro Economics as well as the introductory course “Why Business?” in which students examine the role of business in a humane and just society. This individual will also become a member of the Eudaimonia Institute, the mission of which is to conduct research into the political, economic, and other institutions that enable eudaimonic, or truly flourishing, life. Candidates should have a Ph.D. (or its equivalent) in Economics or a related field. Evidence of prior teaching effectiveness is a must.

Wake Forest University has a long tradition of excellence in impactful teaching and research. The ideal candidate should demonstrate an ability to contribute to the research mission of the Eudaimonia Institute, as well as the teaching and research quality of the School of Business.
