The Economics Department at Sewanee: The University of the South seeks applications for a tenure-track position starting in the fall of 2017. We seek candidates with primary research and teaching interests in the area of labor economics with a preference for those who specialize in labor discrimination or in some international aspect of labor markets. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate introductory and upper level courses in their areas of specialization. The teaching load is 5 courses per year. The successful candidate should exhibit excellence in teaching, display a strong research potential and have their Ph.D. in hand by September 2017.
