The Department of Economics of the University of Zurich is seeking to fill a position at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting September 2017. Applicants should have a PhD degree in Economics before taking up the position. Successful candidates are appointed to three-year contracts, renewable once. After six years, Assistant Professors are evaluated for tenure. The field of specialization is open.
The Department of Economics offers an exciting research environment, competitive terms and conditions, and generous research support. Knowledge of German is not a requirement. In order to increase the number of women in leading academic positions, we encourage women to apply.
