The Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor for Fall 2017. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications: a Ph.D. in Economics, and a demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas: Environmental Economics/Sustainability, Urban/Regional Economics. Candidates should be able to teach upper-division undergraduate courses in their fields as well as other courses depending on specialization and departmental needs. We expect candidates to demonstrate evidence of quality teaching and the potential for significant research.

The Quinlan School of Business (QSB) is AACSB accredited and offers an undergraduate business degree (BBA), and several graduate degrees (MBA, and specialty Masters). The Economics Department also offers a BA through the College of Arts and Sciences. The standard teaching load for research-active faculty in the QSB is 5 courses per year.
