Doha International Family Institute (DIFI) seeks qualified energetic candidates for the position of Senior Lead Researcher. The position is a research position and does not involve teaching. The position is equivalent to the rank of full or advanced associate professor. The candidate’s qualifications include:

• Ph.D. in Sociology, Family Studies, Social Demography, Human Development and Family Science, Family/Public Policy or related field
• A minimum of 10-15 years of research experience
• A strong publication record with a nationally or internationally recognized research agenda related to DIFI’s research programs
• A strong funding record and the ability to develop externally funded research projects
• Ability to build, engage in and facilitate research collaborations with local, regional and international researchers
• Ability to conduct rigorous, critical, high impact and policy-driven research
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
