The Department of Economics at Virginia Tech invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to conduct empirical research and teach at all levels in one of the following applied microeconomics areas: Health, Labor, Development, Education, or Public Finance. The Department is in a growth phase and will be hiring several positions over the next few years.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in economics or a related discipline in hand or firmly expected by appointment begin date of August 2017 and should show promise of significant scholarship and teaching ability.
