The Department of Business Economics and Finance in the Jack Welch College of Business invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor position in economics. The candidate is expected to teach mainly principles courses and a few upper level undergraduate economics courses. Teaching load will commensurate with quality research. All areas in Economics will be considered with preference given to candidates with strength in Macroeconomics and/or International Economics. A Ph.D. in Economics with excellent teaching and/or professional experience is required. ABDs will be considered but must finish Ph.D. by August 31, 2017.
The application deadline is November 15, 2016 with preliminary interviews planned for the ASSA meeting.
