Tippie College of Business seeks tenured professor for Chair, Economics Department beginning August 2017. Chair will provide strategic and operational leadership promoting faculty missions of research, education and service including recruitment, development and retention, junior faculty mentoring, quality improvement, and budget management.

Ph.D. in economics or a related field required. Candidates will:

• Possess a productive scholarly record of national and international prominence;
• Provide leadership in research, education and service;
• Communicate effectively with constituents, including students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni and the State;
• Be committed to supporting and enhancing diversity among students, faculty and staff;
• Promote the department by engaging alumni and donors to enhance departmental resources.
